All NUMEDIC Effluent Pumps can be mounted on pontoons for use in large ponds or sumps.
POND PONTOON - 6 DRUM & 4 DRUM
6 drum pontoons are fitted with gridmesh on the pontoon frame. Boom lengths are 6.5m, 8m, 10m, 12m or manufactured to suit the installation. Booms are fitted with a stabiliser bracket. The boom is attached to a bracket and an onshore pipe, which is concreted into the ground on the side of the pond.
The pontoon can pivot at this pipe and can be simply pulled to the bank for pump/stirrer servicing. The effluent is pumped through the boom to the mainline. There is room on the NUMEDIC pontoon for Effluent Stirrers to be mounted if required.
Optional extras include handrails and pontoon legs.
4 drum pontoons should only have a pump mounted on them. If a pump & stirrer is required then these should be mounted on a 6 drum pontoon.
TANK PONTOON
These systems use guide rails which are bolted to the bottom and side of the concrete tank. The pontoon is located by the guide rails in the centre of the tank and can float unrestricted upwards or downwards depending on the level of liquid in the tank. Effluent is pumped to the mainline from the pump via a section of heavy duty flexible rubber hose.
